What do you love about your club? This is my first year at Redan and due to illness I have only been to three trainings but at each session you feel so welcome and at home, like I’ve been there for years.

I have a great love for Music and Art, and Jeff Buckley and Rembrandt are some of my favourites in these categories. Rainer Maria Rilke is a poet and his words inspire and resonate with me.

What do you love about your club? I love the energetic nature we have and our ability to keep spirits high even when losing in a game.

Who’s your funniest teammate, and why? Lily Collins - She’s super lovely, light-hearted and loves to laugh. She takes the game seriously but doesn’t let herself get down when losing and just has fun playing the game.

What do you love about your club? Exceptionally welcoming and encouraging. Also they are very social.

Who’s your funniest teammate, and why? Probably Janessa she made me laugh so hard I choked and she had to give me some back blows.

What’s the best thing about being involved in Female Football? Playing. I had to give it up at 11 because there were no pathways for me. Coming back now at 29 I had forgotten how much I loved it. Best game in the world.

Just a great bunch of family oriented people who band together to provide sporting opportunities for the younger members of our community in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. Clubs are a very important part of the fabric of our community, and I think we do it pretty well.

Who’s your funniest teammate, and why? President Garry Goyne. Never a dull moment, and one of the biggest hearted, most generous people you could wish to meet.

What’s the best thing about being involved in Female Football? The opportunity to be involved in something new and exciting. The joy of watching many in our club taking up the opportunity to participate in the new sports offering.

What do you love about your club? We have strong junior numbers so the future looks bright

What’s the best thing about being involved in Female Football? It’s no longer a novelty game, it’s now a sport that girls can reach to a higher level. There are academy and representative programs that harness the possibility for the players which is something not imagined 10+ years ago.

What do you love about your club? We are committed to continual improvement and not afraid to make the tough calls to protect our culture. Our women’s football teams are in their infancy and our club continues to learn and grow alongside us as the sport and our players develop.

What’s the best thing about being involved in Female Football? Being surrounded by like-minded people who want to work hard and play harder!
